lilith // OBSESSIONS CD

EDV060 // released October 02, 2026

Album cover, CD art +design by JOYCE.

OBSESSIONS is the result of lilith spending the last two and a half years completely reinventing their approach to music. Following their 2024 release, May Every Shape Hold, OBSESSIONS grew out of a period of grief, change, and dissatisfaction with how they saw themselves, eventually becoming a way to figure out what making music authentically meant to them again.

Sonically, OBSESSIONS moves through experimental electronic music, breakcore, glitch-pop, jazz, ambient music, distorted pop, R&B, and hip-hop. Lilith describes the overall sound as “electronic maximalist anime grindcore.” The album brings together a wide group of features including Dottovu, Pink Siifu, DORIS, giAnna, X-CHAN, and MIO-ERA, with narration by Lenval Brown riddled throughout the album.

The album developed through an intentionally open-ended process to help rediscover themselves as a person and a musician. “If I kept allowing myself to be in this shell of mine, I would never truly know what it would be like to live and breathe as myself fully.” The result is a record lilith describes as “all the things I like.”
